FOOD & LUNCH GRID

Click here for the traditional “Food Stop Grid” that lists details of lunch and snack stops on each day’s routes. This will be in your rider packet; put it in a plastic baggie and carry it with you all week! It’s almost as vital as your helmet. Note: Securing traditional community groups to host GOBA rest stops has been difficult in this remote region. Please review the opportunities (or lack thereof) before each day’s ride, and plan accordingly. We will have hard copies of this at check-in.  Many riders snap a picture with their pone for easy reference during the ride.

HOST CITY INFO & ACTIVITIES – We’ll continue to post info as we recieve it!

Jefferson, Ohio (Saurday – Tuesday morning)

GOBA Activities & Food Service – Click image below

Fairport Harbor – Tuesday Lunch!

Tuesday’s lunch stop is worthy of special consideration with our other host communities.  Fairport Harbor is a beautiful harbor town located on Lake Erie at the mouth of the Grand River.  It’s home to two historic lighthouses, two museums, a charming sheltered beach with a boardwalk, unique shops, & award winning restaurants.

This lakefront community has a rich history as a vibrant industrial community steeped with Finnish, Hungarian, and other ethnic cultures. Tuesday’s lunch will feature all these ethnic delights, and then lead you to the various museums to pick up more ethnic desserts. Shopkeepers, like BethLynne Studios, will offer special GOBA merchandise.   Download the map now!!
