GOBA 2015 regular registration closed on Wednesday, May 27.
ALL REGISTRATION is now CLOSED!!! Registered riders join us in Van Wert and ride with us for a week to get your “Cycology Degree”!

*2. Car Camping – Your registration includes free week-long parking in Van Wert. If you wish to bring a vehicle along with you each day, you will need to register as a “Car Camper”. Please see Car Camper Policies and Procedures and vehicle requirements before choosing this option.

Deadlines Registration: 5 pm EDT Tuesday, May 20, 2015. All registrations must be received no later than 5 pm EDT Tuesday, May 20, 2015. Online registration will close promptly at that time, and any mailed-in registrations must reach us before that time. When mailing, please ensure all waivers are signed and the fees are fully paid with a signed check or money order. Last-minute registrants may want to consider using FedEx or similar express delivery method, to ensure that the forms reach us in time. Note that registration will close on May 20, 2015, or when we reach our limit of 3,000 riders, whichever comes first. Cancellations/Refunds: Postmark by May 20, 2015. Refund requests must be sent by certified mail and postmarked by May 20, 2015. Refunds will be granted up to that date, minus a $49 processing fee. No refunds after May 20, 2015, for any reason. Fee Discounts: Please make note of the various deadlines in the fee schedule above. Register early and save! Transfer of Registration: June 20, 2015. See below for details. Transfer of Registration: NEW FOR 2015:. You may transfer your registration to another person, only following these procedures: Original registrant sends to GOBA a certified letter stating the transfer of 2015 registration with name and address of new registrant (see bottom of this page for GOBA address). Enclose with the letter – a completely filled out registration form and waiver (by the new registrant) along with a check for the $15.00 transfer fee. Deadline: June 10, 2015 (received by date, not postmark). If transfer materials are received by May 20, 2015, a full confirmation packet will be mailed to the new registrant. After that date, the new registrant will receive rider number in an emailed confirmation only. Sorry, this procedure cannot be done using our online registration. Please note, transfer request may be denied and the check returned if all procedures have not been followed.
Columbus Outdoor Pursuits Membership: You too can become a member of Columbus Outdoor Pursuits and enjoy a GOBA discount as well as activities all year long. The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure is owned and organized by Columbus Outdoor Pursuits, a volunteer-based, non-profit organization, providing opportunities and education for outdoor recreation and activities. Merchandise – Order when you register or afterward Your registration form includes options to order 2015 GOBA T-shirts, the 2015 GOBA Jerseys, and the Photo DVD from GOBA 2015 when you register. These items are also available for purchasing separately. See the Merchandise page for more information. Note that T-shirt and jersey availability are not assured after April 30.
Rider Raffle for Special Rider Numbers In honor of our 27th year, catch the fun by vying for Rider #27! Register by April 15 and include your donation for raffle chances at $5.00 each. Rider #2015 Submit your registration postmarked by December 31st – that’s it! You will be automatically entered and there is no additional cost. Rider #27 Look for this option on your registration form. Register by April 15 and include your donation for raffle chances at $5.00 each. Winner receives a prize package worth more than $350! Buying more chances = more chances to win!The package includes

All proceeds from the raffle go directly to the Bicycle Development Fund to benefit Ohio bicycle-related projects. Drawings will be held in the GOBA office. Both winners will be notified within 4 weeks of the contest closings. GOBA will then void out the winners’ original rider number and will re-issue the new GOBA-27 number.
After you register If you register online, you will receive an acknowledgement email with links to other forms you need to complete or options that you can reserve separately. Please read the email carefully. All registrants will receive a mailed confirmation with rider numbers of everyone in your household. Allow 2-4 weeks to receive your confirmation packet in the mail and open it immediately. You will need to complete medical information forms and mail them back as soon as possible. Car campers will have an additional form to complete and send back. Any costs associated with the following options are at your own expense. Residence Halls for 2015: A limited number of rooms in university residence halls will be available exclusively for GOBA participants 5 nights of the week. Click on the respective links to read the full description, costs, and reservation details. Reservations are handled directly with the colleges, and not through GOBA. The buildings may not have elevators; if a first floor room is needed to accommodate a disability, please request when making your reservation. ◆ Bluffton University (Sunday night) – same location as GOBA camp. A limited number of air-conditioned rooms area available, with additional non-air conditioned rooms at a lower rate. Rooms include two single beds and shared bathrooms and showers on the floor. Reservation deadline: June 7, 2015. Click here to make a reservation on the Bluffton University site: ◆ Defiance College (Monday & Tuesday nights) – same location as GOBA camp. Rooms are not air-conditioned, but are in buildings adjoining the GOBA camp area. Rooms include two single beds and shared bathrooms and showers on the floor (linens, pillows, and towels are NOT provided). Visit http://www.defiance.edu/student-life/residence/halls.html for dorm photos and maps. Bed spaces and rooms are limited, so sign up soon. Reservation deadline: Friday, June 5, 2015 by 11:59 PM. Click here to make a reservation on the Defiance College site: ◆ Bowling Green State University (Wednesday and Thursday nights) – less than two miles from GOBA camp. Deadline for reservations is June 10. Suite-style rooms are air-conditioned with private bathrooms, including free Wi-Fi. Fresh linens and a pillow are provided for each of the two single beds in each room. Complimentary two-way luggage van shuttle is also included with room reservation. You can send a small overnight bag on the luggage van shuttle, then bicycle to the residence hall or take the town bus shuttle (no luggage on town bus shuttle), whenever it is convenient. Free campus parking is also included with the room reservation for designated traveling companions, if they are arriving by car. Policies All registrations are for the entire week–no partial-week registrations. All participants must register, whether or not they are bicycling. Each registrant must agree with and sign the Liability Waiver and Indemnification Agreement (custodial parent or legal guardian signs for entrants under 18). Registrations are not accepted without payment. Incomplete or improperly filled-out applications will be returned without being processed. Age restrictions In order to be a GOBA participant who rides on or is pulled by a bicycle, a child must reach their 2nd birthday by June 20, 2015. Note the age restriction does not apply to registered children in a car, accompanying other registered riders. Also be advised, GOBA volunteer support vehicles do not carry child safety seats.
